This canvas print is a reproduction of Jessica Vergeer's South Channel Series painting. The original painting was 12x24, acrylic on canvas, and has been sold. In 2019 and 2020, this painting was the featured artwork on Trestle Brewing Company's South Channel Hazy Pale Ale.
Our canvas prints are printed directly onto thick Oxford-weave canvas using high quality archival inks in a semi-matte finish. Canvases are hand-stretched onto Canadian kiln-dried solid wood frames, and larger sizes include back strainer bars to ensure that the canvas will not warp or sag over time.
All canvas prints are printed using a "wrap" technique where the edge of the painting image is wrapped around the 1.5" side of the stretcher frame, creating the appearance of a painted edge. This makes the canvas suitable for hanging without a frame for a more modern look. All canvas prints can also be framed using solid wood float frames. We generally choose the Espresso (darker brown) option for Jessica's paintings and prints, but we also offer a matte black option that suits the work well.
All of our canvas prints are made to order, are shipped directly from our print supplier, and are usually shipped within 2 weeks of the order date. Canvas prints can also be shipped directly to us at 18 James Street in Parry Sound and held for pickup.
